It’s not every day we have a super cute doggie come along on an engagement session, but we are sure happy when they do! Emily’s dog, Souri, joined her and Brad for their engagement session in Coal Harbour, dressed with bandana and all! We’ve known Emily for almost 2 years now and I hadn’t met Brad before the engagement session, so I was really curious what he’d be like. Emily is such a lovely and sweet person, so I was hoping he’d pass muster. And he certainly did! I was so pleased to meet him and feel like they are such a great match. A perfect team! She found herself a good one! So after meeting him, we all had a fun, relaxed and easy engagement photo session capturing their love for each other and incredible cuteness of Souri as well.

Here is a sneak peek of Celine and Iain’s French Mediterranean wedding near Cassis in Provence. It was such a joy for us to travel to their wedding and soak in the Southern French culture as well. We had such lovely conversations with many of Celine’s family who travelled from all over Europe to be there and also Iain’s family who came from Canada. Their wedding was held outdoors on the property of a very old winery, which even dates back to the Ancient Romans. It really was such a joy for Justin and I to photograph their wedding in the beautiful French Provencal countryside.

We are looking forward to seeing them when they back from their honeymoon in Greece to show them so many more beautiful photographs of their wedding day and reminisce about the delights and beauty of Southern France.

Rachel and Gino had a Catholic wedding ceremony at St Claire of Assisi Church in Coquitlam. We captured many beautiful moments during their wedding ceremony, but we especially just love this moment that Justin photographed at the start of their ceremony. It’s such a powerful and meaningful moment that I’m sure Rachel’s dad, Gino and Rachel will never forget. We had 11 yr old Keegan along for Angela and Shawn’s engagement photo session, (he’s Shawn’s son) and we had a blast having him along with us. Our engagement photo session at Fisherman’s Wharf was light, playful and extra fun with Keegan there, and it turned into more of a family photo session. It was fun to capture them as a family, being goofy and laughing with them. We look forward to Angela and Shawn’s wedding in June and look forward to seeing Keegan in a tux!

We love that Mary and John were up for their West Coast engagement session, rain or shine! It ended up being a drizzly day, so the rain gear was on and the outdoor gear for their engagement session, suited them so well. Their adventuresome spirit, coupled with kindness, respect and love for each other is a wonderful energy to see. Plus of course, a healthy dose of laughing, always a good thing to have as well! We headed over to Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge for their engagement photos and enjoyed a quiet and fun walk in the forest along the river in the light rain.
