Christina + Mike married at Van Dusen Gardens, Vancouver

Christina and Mike were married this summer at the beautiful Van Dusen Gardens in Vancouver. Both Christina and Mike are veterinarians. And almost all their guests, other than their family, were all also veterinarians. So how wonderfully appropriate that animals made an appearance in their photographs throughout the day!

Little Marika flew all the way from New Zealand to watch her very favourite Aunty Tina get married.

I love this moment when her Dad saw her for the first time as a bride!

Marika was supposed to be first, however this proud duck took the lead in the processional!

Christina’s grandfather flew all the way from Minnesota at the age of 95 to be a part of her wedding day.  Christina and her grandfather have a very special bond and I certainly can see the love here. 🙂 It’s one of my truly favourite photos from this summer.
