Vancouver Engagement Photography: Shawna + Nolan

Justin + I have been fortunate enough to have known Shawna + Nolan for a few years now and we are both very excited that they’ve finally picked a date to get married!  They’ve decided to tie the knot next summer and we feel so honoured that they’ve asked us to be their photographers.

We know what an incredible life-long gift we are able to give to our clients, so it is extra special that we get to do this for these two whom we know so well 🙂 When we were chatting about where they might like to have their engagement photo session in Vancouver, they suggested going for a hike high enough up in Cypress Mountain Park so that we could see their wedding venue at Camp Fircom on Gambier Island, in Howe Sound. We thought that was a great idea! So off we went! We had a beautiful Autumn afternoon photo session and hiking up to the view point. We planned to have their photo session late in the day to catch that warm, golden light, but we couldn’t have planned for the incredible sunset we were treated to! Ahh, we live in a beautiful place!
