Nicole and Greg met years ago in Bamfield at the Marine Sciences Centre beach combing and mucking around tide pools. Their love of the sea and all things beneath brought them together and was their inspiration for their seaside theme wedding,(except the part where she wears cowgirls boots, but that’s a tip of the hat to her Abbotsford roots!). We also had their engagement session by the sea as well, click here to see more.

They were married on a gorgeous hot summery day at the Celebration Pavilion in Queen Elizabeth Park and had a gorgeous evening wedding reception at Bridges Restaurant on Granville Island.

To announce at your “engagement party” that tonight is actually going to be your wedding day, is certainly a very exciting way to get your family and friends screaming, whistling and hollering!

And that’s exactly what Brette and Ricardo did!

When Ricardo announced that they were all at Steamworks Uber Lounge for his and Brette’s surprise wedding, the room erupted with fantastic cheers.

After his announcement, all the guests walked next door into The Atrium, that is part of Gastown’s Landing Building. Since the energy was high from their surprise, everyone had an amazing time, including us!

Congratulations to Brette + Ricardo!

Jolene and Oliver’s engagement session may have been a very wet and rainy day engagement photo session, but it certainly didn’t dampen the mood or the smiles. Our engagement photo session with with these two foodies, started at their favourite sushi restaurant, Kishimoto on Commercial Drive. The sushi was gorgeous and creative and delicious! I think that’s certainly where the smiles started! Then afterwards, under large umbrellas, we headed outside for a lovely walk at nearby Trout Lake.
